I know that N*ck is a bad word around here, but N*ck is at it again with the anti-music man remarks.....Do the right thing and stand up for what's right!

For The Cause!!

Nothing anyone says to Nick is going to stand a chance against the brick wall that is his head. He's done a bit better recently, but he is still quick to defense posture.

Toasted was there with Nick, and he is saying the ones he played were fine. No one really interested in an opinion is going to have theirs changed by Nick's rantings and black/white logic over a 10 minute music show inspection, so I say, let 'im hang himself.

Everyone can stand down, I think. ;)

Why poke the angry badger? :D

Just for the record, and anyone concerned - this was nothing but a joke i.e. Not to be taken seriously by the faint-hearted, etc., since there was some "concern" about what I was trying to do with this thread.

(I'm not talking about you Bassmonkee)

:)

I beat up people like him in junior high school.

Sometimes, when I read his posts, I really get nostalgic about that.

I try to take the high road (kudos to Jason) but sometimes the environment is simply too target-rich, as we used to say.

Even youth cannot excuse complete ignorance. Yes, I was young and dumb, but I was aware of my ignorance and smart enough to keep my mouth shut around people with more information. That's how you learn.

And why I'm so damned smart now.

Heh heh.

Is the second guy who posted in that thread ("Toasted") Nick's brother?

No just another Talkbasser who is from England. He and Nick have met up occasionally.

Seriously boys, let's just ignore the prick.

We're all here for a reason, we play & like out MM Basses.

Nick doesn't and frankly I ain't gonna lose a wink over that.

Nuff said.

I have always treated Nick like I do most youngin's with attitude, and that's by ignoring him, but I have to say, after reading what he said about Stingray's and such, I was kind of hurt...

Sure his oppinion means nothing, but it's just the fact that somebody had the ignorance to call a perfectly respected and played bass 'crap'. Oh well. It's really only the sort of angry you get when you're in a situation like this. You know you're right, but the kid's so ignorant you know he'll never accept it. Then again, that's why I stay away in the first place.
