hi, I am a proud owner of a 1992 Music Man StingRay bass.
please don't ask, but it was dropped and left to soak in a tub of water and bleach over night.....
a friend did some work on it.

but he says it needs a refinish.
one of the op-amps need replacing.
the headstock has some cracks and the body may have warped.
I love this bass dearly.

can anyone recommend a luthier in the US hopefully florida who can do these repairs.. does ernie ball themselves offer repairs to past warranty basses?
thanks,
richard sven

Yes, I've been thinking about this one for a while now. You must someday tell us how your bass came to be soaked in bleach.

I mean, okay, I've done some odd things in my life, but the phrase "soak my bass in bleach" had never come up until now.

The Guitar Factory in Orlando, FL does some of the best work in the country in my opinion. They may be able to help you out.

The real story

I'm guessing Richard's pissed-off ex girfriend threw it in the tub of bleach when she caught him conducting some "extra-carricular love song research" with one of the many chicks who did guys who play StingRays.

C'mon man, give us the real story!
