Just got my first EBMM, an sillhouette, wonderfull guitar, just as good as my 6400$ list price Les Paul Custom Class 5. I find the sillhouette faster to play & better for heavy gain modern stuff. Ofcourse nothing compares to the Les Paul when it comes to certain stuff.
The only thing In terms of playability is that I Find the Les Paul easier to do vibrato on, but that's propably due to me having played Gibson for the last 3 years and gotten used to their necks. But I really like how the MM neck feels solid and not to thin like some strats, it's more like a faster Les Paul & got a funkier and less "surf" tone than the strats wich i really like.
I had not really played MM guitars b4 except one time many years ago in a store, so I just had a slight idea how it would be, But listening to youtube videos I knew it had a great sound. And now to my point of this post, I got it for almost 1/3 of what they cost new in perfect condition. At this price tag the EBMM guitars are almost to good to be true. Cause their certainly worth their list prices, what are the causes for the low resale value?
