I bought this bass at Guitar Center about a year ago and I was trying to look it up on line to see what type of material was used on the neck and I can not find this bass any where on line. Its a Music Man (Ernie Ball) Sting Ray Slo Special 4 String with a neck plate that says "custom made". It's all black. I mean every thing. The only chrome on it is the jam nut for the cable input.

Serial Number: E72105

Can anyone help me identify this Bass.

Thank you

the slo special has a neck that is narrower than the usual sr4 neck (kinda like a jazz vs presicion neck)

my bongo stealth has only one white washer on the strap pins.. rest is black.
if the color is matte black instead of glossy you have a stealth :)

To answer your question about neck material it is Maple. Should have and Ebony board also unless it is an older model that came with Rosewood.
