Just like the tops :D!!! Sorry guys, I just had to do it hehe. So the other day I was just messing around with the 20th Silo since that's the only one with a trem I have since I sold my Silo Special. I felt in the mood to do some wanking, and just recorded this with my phone once again. Sorry for the quality, but it gives you the idea.

I have the trem floating, and it is NOT set up the Verheyen way. This is to prove that his system is pointless, as the trem works perfectly fine with proper set up and lubed nut slot.

Then again, I have yet to play a guitar with a vintage trem that feels so damn good like the Music Man trem does. Here is a little demo of me screwing around...sorry for the nonsense playing.

Roubster great playing there! Sick finger bending you have going on man. Whats the fretboard on that… BUTTER? Haha. The vintage trem on my Luke is amazing. It's so smooth. Nice!

i have a BFR Luke and a silo special w piezo , just had them set up and play like butter.
Trem is floating but have tuning issue must be catching in nut. Will try lubing nut , thought Luthier would have done this .

I lube the nut every time I change the strings.

I don't know how close the Silo trem is to the JP6. I assume it's the same except for some added weight. But mine feels like a floyd, real smooth and stable.

The JP tremolo is my favorite tremolo ever. Nothing comes close IMHO, and over the years I've had the opportunity to try about everything available. The vintage Tremolo is very nice too, but I think the JP has more pitch range. I can play the modern style tremolo licks and not have to deal with a locking nut, etc., and new strings retain pitch in a matter of minutes.
