BP...question for you. I am from Newport beach, born and raised sice 1974, and now I am out here in Boston working. Anyways, you said the original factory was in Newport Beach, just wondering where exactly? I grew up on 35th street down on Balboa, but I know where some factories like Quicksilver and Aleeda, WRV are at up Superior blvd, off of Placenta. Thats the only place I know that has factories near by. Just curious...and yeah I miss Newport BAD, hopefully getting home soon. Thanks...

We were on Production Place between placentia and superior.also between 15th and 16th QUicksilver first place was just a few doors down....wow have they grown.

I also went to Ensign and Harbor...What year did you graduate?

I actually graduated from Costa Mesa HS, 1992 go Mustangs. Thats a long story...LOL My first waterpolo meet was at NH, and let me tell you we GOT OUR ASSES KICKED by those Sailors. They ladies at NH are fine, same at CDM. I swear to god, those dudes were like Navy SEALS. When I left home at 18, my first pad was a warehouse I lived in, right near where "In N Out" is near Placenta. I know that area well. Quicksilver is a fortress now, back in the day you could walk up there and buy clothes wholesale, go to Aleeda and get cheap wetsuits, all that stuff. Spent quite a few nights playing at Diedrichs coffee on 17th st., great place to hang. I was home 2 years ago, and I cannot believe how much Irvine has grown,, there was NOTHING out there, even after they built the toll road. I actually went to school in the Air Force up at Vandenburg, surfed Morro, SLO, all that stuff. WESTSIDE...Later BP let a brother know when you guys are going to make the M.O.Green available so I can give my money away to Pete D!!!!
