Hi
Are any of you familiar with wiring the MusicMan 5 way switch?
I am in the process of installing new pickups in my Luke, but I am being a bit hesitant at the moment- I dont want to start soldering until I am totally sure about what wire goes where!
I have passive pickups to wire in (Hum-Single-SC size Hum) basically a HSH setup.
I am trying to achieve:
Full Bridge HB
Tapped Bridge HB and Middle
Neck and Bridge Humbuckers
Tapped Neck Humbucker and Middle
Full Neck
I've wired plenty of Super switches, but none with the layout of the MusicMan switch. I have a Silhouette Special with the same switch, but the wiring is different to what I want to achieve.
I think the main stumbling block is the fact the switch has groups of 5 tags, 4 tags and an extra set of tags at the end, so the layout is slightly different to the superswitches Im used to wiring (Fender- Oak-Grigsby type).
Any info would be greatly appreciated and I PROMISE I'll get some pics of my 'Balls posted ASAP lol
Cheers
Mark
