Just as a matter of interest the old Blind Lemon helped judge the Musicman Bass Scholarship at the Institute of Contemporary Music Peformance in Kilburn, North London yesterday. I joined Pete Whittard (ICMP Director) and
Terry Gregory (Head of the Bass Dept) There were 2 Scholarship courses up for grabs, one was a full scholarship and one was a half scholarship.
The finalists were Jon Wilson, Ronnie Hatt, Erico Terella, Jamie Wilkins, Oliver Mower and Bryce Rendell.

Jamie Wilkins got the Full Scholarship along with a Musicman Bass of his choice and Bryce Rendell got the 1/2 scholarship.

Well done guys.

Wow Terry Gregory was my bass teacher!! This was over 15 years ago when the institute was called Guitar and Basstech Insitute and they were based in Acton when the owner director was Alan Limbrick.

Terry is an amazing left handed player who plays like Jimmy Haslip i.e. upside down right handed basses with the strings in the opposite way thinner ones on top and heaviest on the bottom.

Well done Blind Lemon
