Don't these have a solid state preamp section, or is that another MM model?

There's a local music shop out here that has a really nice condition MusicMan tube combo amp, belive it has 4 10's in it (not sure of the model) I've had my eye on for awhile, but a bit big to cart around with me. They were asking $700, not sure if that's a good price on it or not. If anybody's interested, I'll drop send you to number to the store...

Probably a MM 410-HD 130W
(like mine !). Combo with 4x10"speakers. Packs some serious output.

Here's a pic of one :

There's a forum somewhere with a bunch of guys fanatical about these amps. Might be a good place to look ?

I'll try & find it

I think all Musicman amps have SS preamps and tube power-amps. The ones I've looked at on Ebay have all been that way, but then I only look at the heads. With an SS preamp and glass power, they'd be great to plug an amp-modeler into.

:D :D :D

"Glass Power".. never heard that before, lol. I guess a SS premap would make sense for inputting a modeler. Thanks. That likely explains the lower price tag too.
