MusicMan duo ;) featuring my new Petrucci BFR!!

As promised here are some pictures of my new Petrucci BFR along with the regular JP 2005 limited model in buttercream!!

These are amazing guitars!!! Really, I like both equally!! I think the added push pull on the BFR is a great idea, and this position sounds awesome!

The regular one is less heavy than the BFR though....

I tried to best capture Bahama Blue as in most pictures I've seen on the net, it "too blue"... in real the color is much darker and slightly greenish... mmmmm

curious, what do you play through? do you find you change the settings much between the two JPs?

No not really... The BFR is a bit darker than the regular JP, but I don't really know if it's the wood difference or the D-Sonic.. or both

And I'm leaving for the week end.. we go to the mountains with my girlfriend... really hard to go when I just recieved my new baby....

It's called "baby blue"....

Nice set, but of course the BFR is going to be heavier, the maple top and Mahog tone block adds weight, and the deeper tones come from that, and yea I dig the push pull pot adds a whole new dimension to getting tones from the JP, again congrats nice BBB
