Hi,

i'm wondering about how my jp6 will sound through my engl blackmore amp. has anyone ever played that combination? what about the piezo sound? my ibanez with dimarzio tonezone and air norton already kicks ass, but this could be even better :D

I often play mine through a Screamer 50 and it's musical heaven :D
Never tried the piezo through it though, kind of pointless if you have an AER sitting next to it ;)

My friend plays a JP6 (with D-sonic) through a Blackmore Engl with a 2x12". He says it's great!

Blackmore is my favorite ENGL, I think you can coax a good sound with any guitar out of that amp so youll be fine, the JP will sound great -

Steve Morse, Vinnie Moore and Blackmore...
I want one without even trying one :). Pete, are you a dealer for ENGL now? Or is it just for the Morse clinic?

That's GREAT! Now when I move into my new place in the next couple of months and be able to save up, I can finally buy a PROPER Amp for my proper guitars :D...from YOU :)! And more Balls...

I have a Powerball and love it! I get some fantastic tones and it is the most reliable amp I have ever owned. I don't have my MM yet so I can't add any comments.

i had'nt got any problems with engl either and the sound is just what i expect and need. i recommend trying one of them, the new invaders are VERY versatile. has anyone experiences with the piezo output and these amps? i read it differs from amp to amp..?

I use ENGL Sovereign Vintage 100- combo,4 channels, 100W .
Loud like hell and very versatile to fit all of my guitars :)
Great clean-never crunchy, but press down the 2nd button and play fenderisch sound.Third is from little over drive to wet distortion, 4th is full of sustain and smooth or agressive-depends on the setup.

I think about some changes-want to test MB Lonestar and who knows...

Can those of you that like the Engl stuff expand upon "good tone" and talk about what kind of tone you go for, and what style you play? I'm kind of interested in these as well, especially the powerball...

Thats just the model that I had. The sound was amazing. The cleans were beautiful, and the Soft Lead channel sounded amazing. When it worked....

Hello

I think my next amp will be an ENGL.
MM Steve Morse + ENGL should soud VERY good...
If it is good for Steve Morse ... well it's good for me. Besides, in Europe ENGL are not expansive.

Enjoy your ENGL :)
