My Silo special was made in 1997, when Sterling had been at the helm for a long time already. It is a design created by Sterling and crew. It has the "double Ms" logo on the neckplate...

That design is not exclusive to pre-ball guitars.

I think all my guitars bar one have the old style stripey trousers neck plate.

We could have a 1970's theme with big moustaches and stuff, stripey trousers, flares the lot.

Those of us who lived through the 70s the first time would be too embarrassed to revisit the fashions!!

definitely! Really great tops, maybe there will be a re-issue of those shirts? I'm pretty sure there are many people here how would love to wear them. I'm one of them!
