Hi,

I am about to buy a musicman luke sequoia gold (after I tried it, of course).

What do you think of it?

Does it retain the strat-like sounds of the "standard" luke (on single coil pick ups anyway) despite the sequoia body?

Thanks in advance,
Antzoul

Welcome! Sequoia Gold is only the name of the paint, the body is still made of alder. Sounds the same as other non-BFR Lukes. Make sure to post some pics when it arrives (i'm sure you'll LOVE it).

Hi and welcome!

I'm sure the sequoia gold only refers to the color of the finish, nothing to do with the body wood. So there will be no difference in sound. When you buy it, do show it here. It's a beautiful finish!

Yes, to what they said, and it is one of the most beautiful limited editions they ever did, IMO. Run, don't walk, and buy it now!
