musicman sabre '79

Hi,

a few days ago I bought a '79 musicman sabre without a case, but I was wondering if the sabre basses @ '79 were sold with a cases? If yes, how hard is it to find these cases? And could someone post a picture of it?

Other question: will the sabre fit into a case of stingray or sterling? Will it not be too large or too small?

Yes, originally the Sabre usually would have come with the musicman 'torpedo' plastic hardshell case. Like this:

My Sabre didn't have a case when I got it either, so I bought a 90's musicman tolex case like this one. Fits perfect.
