It's all a matter of preference, but I like it, thats the Musicman tone I hear in my head when think of it. I'm not a big fan of trebly bass sounds, but punch yes. Like Jack says "if I wanted treble, I'd play cymbals !"

Sounds pretty good. Recorded at fairly low volume? If so, that's why it's a bit noisy (fingers, frets, etc), so turn it up a little next time if that's the case.

But hey..... I bet he doesn't make ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS on average each time he plays in front of 20 people for 4 hours like I do.:p:D

haha that's good money.

i'm mostly a jazz double bass player..locally around here i get about $100 too on average per gig. restaurant gigs pay a lot of money =)

my bass-guitar needs some work though, i'm not as comfortable on it as i am on the double bass

That is in Canadian money. In the US we would have to make $2,000. just to equal your exchange rate anymore thanks to our government.
