Hi all,

I just ordered a Musicman Sub1. I've been looking for a Strat like guitar with stringtrough body for a long time but couldnt find anything. Some time ago i saw a video where someone was playing a Musicman guitar. I checked the website and found the Musicman Sub1. This was exactly what i wanted. Just 1 humbucker, no tremelo and stringtrough body. And WOW, the headstock, i loved it! Since i'm only playing guitar for a couple of months now i didnt immediately wanted to buy a very expensive guitar, but i wanted good value for the money. Thats why i choose the Sub1. Next week it will be delivered and i'm very excited! Meanwhile, could someone post up some pics of their Sub1? I would really appreciate it.

Well congrats, and it is a great guitar I know there are pics so some one will post but rule of the site, without pics of your guitar it does not exist so remember to post when you get the guitar

Welcome to the SubClub. I think you are making a good choice on starting out with a SUB1. It really is a quality instrument for the price.

My only gripe would be the lack of contour on the body for more comfortable picking. Other than that, it looks, plays and sounds great. In fact, I have been playing it quite a lot lately and the more I play it the more I really like it.

Thanks for the replays! I'll be getting the sub1 on tuesday or thursday. In the mean time, does anyone have a picture of the back of a sub1? I'm very curious how it looks with the black painted neck, neck plate and the body/neck joint.

I noticed text on the bridge. I know no Sub1 guitar has that. Isnt this strange? Its a new guitar, so no one put an other bridge on it...

Dude, nice guitar. Are you talking about the Music Man engraved on the bridge? They all have that.

Yeah Glenn - not to publicly chastise you....ok I will. The Subs are different. Mine is blank too. I thought it was discussed here a while back that the Subs were different in a bunch of ways. For example, the headstock and neck plate are different as well.
