MusicShow Gadget? :S

Heyy all, i was at the international music show in london last weekend, and while at the ernie ball stand, i was playing around on the bass's

each of them had this gadget/fx pod with them, clipped onto the board.
included a recorder, tuner & certain fx.

Anybody know what im talking about?
been looking for some decent fx to match both my EBMM bass guitars.
Anybody know the name of it? or suggest any good fx that will compliment my bass'?

I don't know what S&T had but i didn't rate it much because it was distorting a lot on part volume, not really suitable for these active instruments.

What I and most people use is the Tascam MPBT1 MP3 Bass Trainer
