Yo fellas! Me just scored one of these from the bay. Anybody here got one and wanna share their experience? Really looking forward to its arrival! :D

I own one ad think it's great. I just don't understand what the little shift button on the top left corner is for.

Keeley does not work on MXR pedals, because the inputs are mounted to the circuit board. I asked him about true bypassing a Flanger and the Carbon Copy, and after sending pictures of the inside, it was suggested that it would be too big a job.

I think the only MXR pedal that can be true bypassed is the '74 reissue Phase 90. I actually have one, because it sounds deadly. I believe the Slash wah is true bypass as well, but don't quote me for sure.

Back on topic, the Delay is really great. Two of my friends have them on order, yet I'm the only one that got one. They are pissed.
 
True. The Keeley touch will cost really a bit..

The MXR Carbon Copy does feature true-bypass. It's an excellent pedal. Especially for the price.
 
Tut-tut-tut young fella. It's not true bypass, per say, i.e. there is not a wire going from input to output to bypass the signal when the pedal is switched off. It uses a version of the Millenium Bypass, which is a buffer of sorts, and preserves the signal, even though the input and output are wired into the board. It may be a "form" of bypass, but t is not a true hardwire bypass.

I'm not knocking it, because it sounds marvelous and the tone degradation is minute. Let's just not dress a bear up in a dress and call it a lady.

I'm not a electronics guy, and was assuming the official product description was accurate. Here is an excerpt from Dunlop:

"True hardwire bypass, single 9-volt operation, and stage-ready blue LEDs round out the package."

Either way, it sounds great and doesn't fool with one's tone like some of their other products.
 
I went through a pissload of different researchers and websites to figure things out. I got emails from Dunlop as well as other companies explaining it all. There is no tone degradation so it is fantastic. Don't get me wrong either... I'm not really an electronics guy either!

Hopefully I didn't sound arrogant in my initial posting about it. If so, sorry!
 
Looks like I 'm getting a wonderful analog delay pedal to pair up with my Boss DM-2 huh? ;)

May gonna ditch that DD-3 soon. Haha.
