I received my EBMM 2005 Sterling LE MM today. Played it for about an hour, and found it hard to put down. WOW. i can't beleive i've deprived myself of such a fine instrument for this long.
It plays like a dream and talk about tone,OMG.. crunchy, growley, with plenty of bottom and everything in between.
I owned dozens of basses from all the top names and EBMM is definitley
one of the finest. It's refreshing to see an american company still building top quality instruments. Now i can't wait to find my second EBMM, this could be an addiction.
Im a big fender fan and own a few, but all i got to say now is, move over
and make room, theres a new sherriff in town.

I used to have an HH Sterling buttercream just like that. I now have an HH buttercream Bongo instead. Welcome!

Your use of the conditional tense confuses me.

Many of us own Fenders, too - nothing wrong with some different spices in the rack, as BP says.

Now, how do you feel about Bongos?

I will always have room for my vintage fenders.

Now, how do you feel about Bongos?

Not sure, never played one yet.

Hey Tbone,
Well i grew up listening to Led Zepplin so John Paul Jones had a big influence on my style of playing. I also loved the motown sound of the Funk brothers.
And so many other great musicians.
I play anything from rock, funk, blues, metal, and indie mostly.
So whats your style tbone? Hmmmm... sounds like a good thread maybe ill start one what ya think?
