My 2009 EBMM addition; a LUKE! w/PIEZO

Well,
2005,2006,2007,2008 all had new musicman guitars. 2009 was creeping away when this beauty crossed my path. An original Blue Dawn Luke w/piezo. I mean, what the?? I can't imagine there were very many of those made. It's SUPERB. I am now a real fan of the LUKE. Piezo is (of course) incredible. I love the single/single/hum config. Stays in tune great. The V neck is wicked!
So, now I'm a luke lover. Check with me after the honeymoon, but right now, it gets the nod over the AL and the JP6

Still love Blue Dawn Lukes. Got 2. Pete talked me into the 2nd one. Couldn't say no since it had a piezo.

Blue Dawn is such a hard finish to photograph. It has so much depth that just cannot be captured with even the best camera lense.
