Your thread would have been a lot more eye catching had you taken the word "top" out of the title. :D

I've never seen one that different as far as flame and quilt on one guitar. They typically pride themselves on how closely they bookmatch halves when making the tops. Could have been the end of a run on the maple tops, who knows...

Whatever the reason it definitely makes for a unique looking guitar. I wonder if there is a twin out there somewhere.
