Thanks to all the helpful advice from the forum members, I finally closed a deal on a cherry sunburst Axis in mint condition. The maple cap is a quilt top, with one of the most highly figured necks I've seen.
I snagged the deal for $800. The FedEx tracking website says it'll arrive this Monday. Can't wait to get it!! Arggghhhhh....
