As some of you might now, i started playing bass on a washburn Xb-102. Well when i got my sterling i passed the baby that i learned to play on to my Brother- In-Lawfor christmas. His fender was stolen about a month before that from some seady guy that always was hanging around their apartment. They moved into a new apartment about 3 months after chrstmas. Untill today, their apartment went up in flames comsuming everything in the Apt, including the baby, a squire acoustic, and every other one of their worldly possesions. This fire started on their balcony(they think, the authoritys are still not sure) Luckly my Brother-in-law and his three your old son, who where asleep in the same room as the blaze got out, just seconds before the backdraft hit throught the window, exploding the tv that was infront of him, the window that was beside him, and the computer that was behind him. He heard each one of these things explode as he was in the hall, calling the Fire Dept. from his cordless phone. (Luckily fire hadnt got to the reciever yet) Everything was destroyed. All of this took place in Lenexa Kansas, a Suburb of Kansas City. They had no renters insurance becasue in KC the price on it is insane. So if i am posting less than i have in the past days it is because i am in KC helpin gettin everything sorted out.

thanks, Joe

I hope in some way somewhere down the road this turns out to be a blessing in disguise cuz it sucks losing all that you own. Glad to hear all made it out alive and unharmed. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Hey Joe pm me or post it here what sizes of clothes they need. I won't have much that would fit the little boy here at my house, but I have several nephews and I’m sure they will have some things. We just cleaned out the closets here and I have two bags of clothes that are ready to go. I've got two cordless phones and all sorts of other things that I'd be happy to FedEx to you today, just let me know.

I’m so sorry this happened, I really would like to help in any way I can.

Sorry to hear of this Joe but happy
they are ok - losing almost everything
is horrible (same thing happened to
friends of ours) but they still have
each other and that's the most
important thing. Be sure to let us
know what they need so we can
help out.

Take care of the family Joe. My best wishes to you and them. I am close enough to Lenexa to bring some things you need if you let me know what those needs are.
