Hey Bass Ball Brothers,

I have cool news I'm sharing about my band The Grip Weeds (total obnoxious blow your own horn blowing) :D

Our new album "Strange Change Machine" is Goldmine Magazine Pick in the September 24th issue of Goldmine Magazine, and has received a four-star review. (John Lennon is on the cover)..

Some of you have bought this album (BIG THANKS)...and man this is one of the first print reviews we've received since the official August release.

The article is up on our Gripweeds Facebook page if you'd like a quick read.

It's funny to us, that yes, it's a DOUBLE ALBUM, and some reviewers have given us a knock for putting out a 24 track album. My niggle was, Hey...it's two albums for the price of a single CD..so whatca bitchen about?

Anyhoo..there ya go

thats awesome man congrats. it matters not what critics say about the album, just get them talking. truly no such thing as bad press. rolling stone mag. hated led zepplin.... with a passion, trashed every release. marvin gaye was told "whats goin on" would end his career if he released it. when cowpilot released their ep, dep of homeland security rented the house across from jack for 6 months, and of course, the beatles and stevie were total morons for releasing double albums when they "barely had enough solid material for one". "only the good die young" by billy joel absolutely BOMBED until the catholic church banned it, the next week it was number one everywhere, and now of course a classic rock staple. just get em talkin!!!
