LOL...well...what can I say. We drove 1 1/2 hours to get to the venue and when we arrived the Headline band was there. Got our equipment set up and did a sound check. The sound system was AWESOME. When we got ready to play...well, there were a total of 5 people there! LOL...one was the owner/sound guy/light guy, the bar tender, the webcast dude, our guitar player's girlfriend and the local drunk chick....hahahah...

We threw down like we always do as if there were 1,000 people there....because of the webcast. We had close to 100 people viewing the show...so that was not bad.

The funny part to all this....the headline band left and never played! hahahaha

The best part is...because we drove in from out of state to do this for the owner, he gave us the opening slot for the FLAW show in April.

Overall, great show. The owner was a super cool dude and was so apologetic about the lack of crowd, I felt bad for him. Really, it was no big deal to us....we love playing for the sake of playing.

That blows my mind, Koogs! Up here, the bar owners expect the band to bring the crowd, and they try to change the 'deal' if you don't! :(

Koogs, an hour and a half drive isn't too bad.
What did the local drunk chick look like? :p
Sorry I couldn't talk last night. How'd the radio interview go??
Use any profanity? ;)

Steve....usually, when a band goes out of state, bringing in the crowd is tough. The owner did plug the show...but it was on a Monday. It was 10 degrees out and I must say, I don't blame anyone for staying home nice and warm. Locally, we pack the places we play. We have so many places wanting us to play because of our crowds.

Keith...yeah man, no biggie. How did your show go?
The interview went well. Everything is pre-recorded so, any profanity was edited. I only slipped once, but overall, I was on my best behavior. I got to plug our show for tonight and our huge show on the 24th. I plugged the band website of course. The cool part, the DJ saw my bongo necklace and asked about it. So, I got to plug Ernie Ball Musicman, the forum, Big Poppa and everyone here! Went really really well....had a few callers ask about the bongo bass and got many compliments on the bass sound I have. Really caught me off guard with all the compliments. Humbling is the only word I can think of.....made me feel good that people I don't know like my music and my playing. Great confidence booster for sure.
