Some weeks ago, I told you that I wanted to sell my Bongo 4HH in order to buy a SR4H. All of you told me that there's just no way that I could sell my Bongo. Anyway, I put it out for sale. Many wanted to buy it, but when it comes to money, it seems like nobody has it :p And when I started to realize that in a short time, by Bongo would be gone, I got second thoughts about selling it. Therefore, it looks like I will keep it now (you were right all the time :p ).

But the story doesn't end there. I am also selling my Fender P-bass that I for some reason bought once ... (don't ask me why :p ). And today, I got an e-mail from a guy who owns a Bongo 5HH and he must have lost his mind, because he asked it i wanted to trade it for my P-bass. I guess I don't need to tell you what I answered :p So if everything goes as expected, I will have a new Bongo 5HH 4 days before Christmas Eve!

I am a true Bongoloid now!

Awesome! That is a true victory. Same thing happened to me - a guy wanting to trade his Bongo for my P-bass, but he must have come to his senses and ran away.

We told you, you could never sell the Bongo. But If you were to sell it, an SR4 is not the WORST bass you could replace it with.

Hehe, the SR is the best bass (except from the Bongo) to replace a Bongo with :p
It's not final yet, he had to think a little bit about it, but I hope he will accept my offer (I had to put in some extra cash, that's fair considering the fact that the Bongo costs more than twice the P-bass).

He was looking for a 4 string bass because he didn't need the 5th string, so I guess it wouldn't be the end of the world if he read this :p

Now, I guess the only thing left to do is to trade my Yamaha 6-string for a Bongo 6? :p If that happens, all my "professional" gear will be EBMM :D

Unbelievable! You get a Bongo for a Fender? Makes me want to buy a used MIM fender and see if I can get the same luck!

I don't blame you for once buying a P-bass; yeah, it's got the mojo. But MM's got the gogo and you're on the right track for sure. 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' seems is the rule of the day. I also don't blame you for wanting to trade for a SR4H; I thought I wanted to do the same thing. Then last night, I was playing a part that requires open E and E-string frets 1-3. I played it all on the B-string and was 'oh yeah'. So Bongo 5HH stays and I'll just have to add an SR at the earliest opportunity. Hope your deal goes through to your liking.

I have to add some cash in order to trade, but that's fair enough, the Bongo has twice the value of a P-bass :p

I want the Bongo now!
