My Bongo Off The Market

I love my Bongo, and think Bongos are great basses, but after a trip to Guitar Center I have decided I would be better off with a StingRay 5 or Sterling. The bass plays and sounds great. The only cosmetic flaws are:
1) A minor nick on the headstock
2) A small nick on the end of the headstock
None of these blemishes are bad, and I could barely get #1 to show up in pics. # 2 wouldnt show up.
I am accepting trade offers for StingRay 5s and Sterlings. I may take cash later if I dont get any trade offers. The bass will ship in the RockBag gigbag I received it in. Send me a private message, or email me at [email protected].
Thanks,
Travis Sanders

Though I can't say I have the cash for the bass, I will wish you luck in your Sterling/SR5 persuit. I too recently swapped my Bongo for a Sterling. Sometime within the next month or so my trans teal baby shall arrive. Anyhow, good luck finding a dealer and if you do eventually grab a Sterling or SR5 post the info.

So, I'm thinking about buying one & you guys are dumping yours in favour of SR's Sterlings.

What gives?

Im just so used to the Rays and Sterlings. They just work better for me. That doesnt mean that a Bongo wont work for you.

Now this would be excellent for both of you, wouldn't it?

Travis, cheezeman is a very good friend of mine and, except in matters of politics, extremely trustworthy. I know we've done two or three good bass deals/trades and I hired him once to be my buttboy - and let me tell you, there are none better.

Lemme know how it goes, lads.

Eggsellent, amigo. CheezeBoy, whom I call Patsy for reasons we'll not get into here, really needs a Bongo.

Yes, he does. He's lusted after them for as long as I can remember. And, after the year he's had, he deserves it, too.
