my bongo plays like butter!

Finally sat down today to put my new TI Powerbass strings on. Decided to redo the whole setup to my liking as well. (Not that there was anything wrong with the factory setup, mind you. I just have a light touch.) Now it plays marvelously.

Thanks to Rod Trussbroken et.al. for all the setup information available.

wouldnt butter be kinda flimsy if you played it? thats assuming it hadnt melted in your hand.

When it melts in your hands is when it just doesn't get any better. I would say putty is a better term you can always reshape it.

I agree Bovine. It does play like a Bongo. But it also plays like butter. I got some out of the fridge and compared. Just like it, I tell ya'.
