I'm almost a little sad knowing that my search for the perfect bass-amplifier pairing is over. ;)

These things sound un-freakin-believable!

It's called a dalek, get ir right! :p

Also sweet cabs, are they 8" speakers?

I think it is a Dalek! I used to watch Doctor Who all the time in my younger days!

The speakers are actually 5". It's pretty surprising how loud they are not to mention the amount of low end they put out.

I'll be playing my Bongos through my Shuttle 6.0 and 2 PJB 4b cabs later today at a street fair. Great rig and great sound!

Interesting - I'd read the review in the (first/most recent/only) Bass Gear magazaine on PJB. The accoutic theory makes sense (being 5" drivers, the ratio of cone to magnet is very close), but I don't know where I could go hear one. (Interestingly enough, Bob Babbit is an endorser)

wonderful rig...+1 also for the Klein...are there any piezo in the bongos? they must sound wonderful on the PJ.

The fretless has the piezo bridge, and they do sound wonderful.

I guess I never really understood what "uncolored" tone was, but I think I do now. My basses sound much more different from each other than I have ever noticed before.
