Hello all, new member here. Been playing EBMM guitars for many years; just got an SR4 a few months ago.

As my opening ante to this great community, I respectfully present a pic of my 18 y/o cat Elvis, peacefully resting on my bass. Enjoy!

Awesome picture, welcome. I wish my cat would do something like that, he hates the sound of all musical instruments... at least he does when I play them:mad:

The gold strings are D*** M****y Randy Jackson strings. I bought them as a joke, but actually they are very nice! They have a nice tension and a very round, piano-like tone.

Not too hip on the Lakers color vibe, though.

Shhhh, this is an Ernie Ball owned and paid by forum, no talk of other makes of strings... better delete it quick before you get told off. :D

Consider that post as a curiosity note, not an endorsement ;)

I already turned my 14 y/o daughter onto EB bass strings (she plays); the next generation is safe!

This is my "animal' pick with my bass, quite the opposite of you cat wich is very cute by the way. His name is Wookie, and he is the protector of the bass. Fear him, he will eat you...

Do I sense a possible marketing tagline here?

Maybe "EBMM - Making beautiful music that soothes the savage beast..."

Seriously, an AWESOME cat - I had one that lived to be 22 - I hope yours goes even longer - thanks for sharing...
