Here's a pic from our gig this weekend. Not bad, we had around 100 people at the venue, which really filled the place. We played 2 hours of all original music and actually made a few bucks on the gig. I wasn't sure that was possible in Pittsburgh...

Anyway, you can see that EBMM was represented in my corner of the stage!

Nice!

I have an idea to get the EB count up further.

How about taping an Ernie Ball Polish cloth to the mike stand for emergency between songs fingerprint removal???:D

Alright, I'll get my coat...........

Haha! Good idea! Actually, each of the guitar cases to the left of my amp has an Ernie Ball polishing cloth inside! (And on of 'em has EB Guitar polish. I am having trouble locating another bottle for my other case.)

As for the singer's Ivebeenhad.. hey.. selling that to him helped finance my Y2D!

Now there's a thing.....virtually every pic you see of a cased Ball up for sale has all the tags and bits in their compartments with the pristine cloth still sitting unused in it's original bag.

What do people use to polish their balls? (Sorry!):D

Bungo: I assure you, the EB polishing cloths in my case are not pristine, nor are they the original ones that came with the guitars! I'm very persistent about wiping down my guitars after playing, so I go through those things quickly. I buy the EB cloths when I can find 'em readily, especially when I can find the combo pack of the guitar polish + polishing cloth.

kbaim: Yes! 2 hours of all original music. (We have more material, but some of it is sill 'in process'.) We did not record the gig though. My wife shot a little bit of video but our camera batteries don't seem to hold their charge anymore so she didn't get much. If I can extract some decent stuff from that tape, I'll put something up on the web.

Funny, I've noticed the same thing. I never really wondered about the polish cloths. But I have wondered if alot of people just buy their guitars to look at. They usually look so clean and perfect, everything still in the plastic, plastic on the guitar still, etc.. . Not the look of an instrument the owner usually is insisting they love to play and hate to part with.

i use micro fiber cloth only for the body to clean, if i clean the necks, i use the EB cotton clothes.
but as lenny said, mirco fiber clothes are perfect for cleaning the laquered surfaces.

sorry for going a bit OT!
