they used to have 24, unless they where just called silos then but with the HSS option.

There is a long-time "glitch" in the EBMM instrument builder that when you build a rosewood board Silo Special the builder program puts in a 24-fret fingerboard neck for some reason. If you build a Silo Special with a maple fingerboard it shows the appropriate 22-fret neck.

If you want a 24-fret HSS, you would have to either turn up an old one or buy an HSH Silo and get an HSS pickguard made up for it.

I have Black one on order, rosewood board, abalone p/g, natty headstock, trem+piezo, expected early March.

I went around and around on all the colors and pickguards, then saw a black Luke in person. EBMM black is awesome. Ever since I saw that, I now notice how deep and dark the black backs are on my Axis/ASSs.

Holy crap! We have almost the exact same taste in Silhouettes!

I got a custom Black Silhouette around ten years ago. It was black with a black pickguard and had the Luke pickups in it. Over the years, I grew out of EMGs and a few years ago, I decided to remake it into my perfect all-around rock guitar. I put a Duncan Pearly Gates at the bridge, a Duncan Tele replacement at the neck, and for a while, I kept one of the EMGs in the middle, screwed all the way down, just to fill the hole.

I finally emailled EB to ask about getting a new pickguard and they pointed me to Chandler Pickguard Heaven (Pickguard Heaven: Pickguards for Every Guitar this is not an ad). I had a custom pickguard made out of that same black mother-of-terlet-seat plastic as in your photo.

I love my "new" guitar and I haven't touched any of my other ones (including my white SSS special piezo) since getting the remodelling o the black one. Here's a lousy photo:
