Hi folks!

I've recently joined up with my brother and a friend of mine to oficially start a DT Tribute band... It's something we've been talking about for a long time and that finally happened.

We are looking for a Keyboardist to complete the lineup...

We recorded a demo of 'Just Let me breathe' yesterday to make it easier for a keyboard player to get inspired (or not) to join us.

You guys a welcome to listen and comment on the recording...

Hope you like it.

BTW, it was recorded with MY BALL! :)

Thiago.

Great, you guys liked it!

I'm very happy with the outcome. All I did up until now was record at home from the 'direct out' of the amp.

This was my first recording miced.

We did the whole recording on 2 'overnights' in our drummer's studio. We can't do it by day because he has clients.

The first night he recorded drums all miced up. I can't tell you exactly what mics he used, gotta check with him.

He used a Pearl Export kit.... Not that great compared to the Yamaha Maple Custom he has in his drum room, but the pearl was all set up already and he got lazy. It's only a demo anyways.

My brother used Myung's bass (Yamaha RMXJM2) on an ampeg combo amp... Both miced and direct.

I used my EBMM JP7 into Mesa Boogie Mark IV. Cabs used were the EV 1x12 (from the combo) and a Peavey Triple XXX 4x12. We miced it with a SM-57 and another to capture ambience (don't have it's model just now).
