hey guys just thought I'd let you know I've just hit the "buy now" button and I will be recieving my first bongo in 5 looooong weeks.

You may have seen it on ebay

Teal pearl
moonstone p/g
Twin Humbuckas

I like to make a special mention to Aussie Mark for all his help during the deliberation process.

He was a wealth of information, and was kind enough to step me through all the processes I will be facing with importing a bass to Aus.

Thanks again mate!:)

I have the ebay pics for now, but I will confirm the purchase when it arrives

That bongo will be the most impressive bass you ever played too. Take time and listen to it. It will speak to masses.

Enjoy your good choice. It took a lot of us a long time to make such a decision.

Once we did we know :)

Best bass on the planet. Nice score. Got my first Bongo last month. Now it's the only bass I play. Enjoy and congradulations. As BP said, it takes a secure player to play the Bongo.

Congrats! That is a beauty for sure! You have made an excellent choice.

I am a new Bongo owner myself. I just bought an HH w/piezo in a fretless and am absolutely hooked. Gonna buy a fretted as soon as possible. Mine was purchased without ever even playing one before. Quite a leap of faith on my part.........and it's a leap I am happy I took!

Enjoy!

I must admit I did a double take when I saw that one yesterday. I'm glad you got it though.

For advice and for looking out for the next aquisition.

But I guess once I got "Bongo Feaver" it was all over.

SR5 is always going to be on the cards in the future (shhh don't tell the girlfriend)

I had never seen one like this either, part of the appeal I guess

As for pics I only have the ebay listing pics you have already seen.

It's coming to me via Canada, which is half a world away as far as I'm concerned.
But once it is in my hands I will update this post

So let's have a look at it then??? There's a well worn saying in these parts.... No pics... No bass!;)
