Hello everyone. This is my first post. I just received my first EBMM last week: A Steve Morse Standard in Blueburst. I ordered from EM Shorts in Wichita. They are great to work with. Wow is all I can say. The woods and finish are beautiful. The attention to detail is incredible. All 11 settings are fantastic and easy to memorize. I have been home recovering from some major surgery and this really has picked me up. I ordered in Dec so the wait was not bad and worth it. I will post some pics when I can.

Other guitars I currently have are a 90 Clapton Strat, a 94 Gibson Lucille and a 2005 Peavey HP Special CT.

Congratz and welcome to the forum, you just picked up a great ax and your others are no slouches either, but EB guitars are like the crack of the guitar world as once you buy one it is seriously hard to stop lol.

Hey Brute, seriously "great" first EBMM guitar!!

However, once you play the MM, it's bye bye to the Fender, Gibson, and maybe (not too quickly) on the Peavey though. lol, lol, lol

Congrats! Great guitar indeed. Had one few years ago. The one with Floyd Rose. Great sound and versatility.

Wecome and congratulations! Wicked guitars, those Morses. Love mine too.

What this thread seriously needs are some pics though. Please post some for us to admire!

Nice bro. Welcome.

I also had a very hard time recovering from a medical procedure when I bought my first EBMM. Playing that guitar lifted my spirits as I was really down! (Heck it still does). Honestly being a part of this forum actually helped too. I was in a bad place but somehow made it through... you will too! Take care.

Hello. I took 9 photos but I have no idea how to attach them to a thread. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the congrats and well wishes. Just played for an hour this morning. The neck is fantastic. Once you get used to the oil finished necks it is hard to get comfy with finished necks, even so called satin finishes. My son has a Ibanez JS 1200 and that has Di Marzio pickups in it as well. I have been playing a long time and to my ears Di Marzios are very clear and articulate. Thinking about changing the pups out of my Lucille and going with Di Marzios.
