I am looking at a 2008LE JP6 Sequoia Gold guitar. Would anyone know how many were made? I'm also looking at a JPX with "All Rosewood" neck. I would love to here thoughts from those whom either own or have played either.

Thanks!

I'm sure, whatever model you pick, you won't regret! JP6 rocks!

mikeller, I do not know how to play very well. I have just gotten back into playing. Hopefully when I post, my signature will show my current guitars. Around 1997-2003 I would practice off and on, but never taking it too seriously. I am a huge VH fan, and one of my friends owned a Red flame top EBMM EVH. I loved getting to play that guitar, and it was my introduction to Music Man. Fast forward to now, and I have also become a Petrucci fan. I was in GC last night playing a used dark red jp6. It was so easy to play!!! I really liked it, but not a big fan of that ones color. So I am looking at the guitars mentioned earlier in this thread. Please hurry up tax return!!! Anyways thanks for your reply! Are all your Ball's easy to play? Also nice to see your in Ohio!! Columbus maybe....I am in Fairborn which borders Dayton.

Benoa, could you tell me how your "All Rosewood" compares to other JP's you've played? And thanks for taking time to reply!!!

Almost neighbors!!! Yeah, I am in Columbus. You ask if all my guitars are easy to play - the short answer is yes indeed. That said I have my favorites that I play often and several that I don't click as well with that rarely get played.

To be honest, the only other JP6 I played is my other JP6 (it's mystic dream with a maple neck+rosewood fretboard).

So as far as comparison I can tell in between the two guitars, it's a really like the stainless steel fret on the all rosewood neck. Very slippery feel. But except that, they both play awesome and both sound really great.
