I'll try to get some pics up later this week of her. Now I'm a maple fretboard guy and this one is rw so I'm thinking I'll need to do something about that.

I'm a maple lover myself but for some reason, 3 of my SR5s have rosewood and one has pau ferro.... Either way, congrats and welcome to the family!

Better "late" than never!! And, considering you started playin' when you were 10, you're just gettin' started!

Yeah, I think "maple" comes with maturity.

I love maple as well, but somehow ended up with 6 of my 7 basses sporting rosewood fretboards...

I got a great deal on this SR5 and it was in my preferred body color (I love that trans teal) so I couldn't pass it up. I'm hoping I can pickup one in maple after I sell or trade out my Spector Euro.

Gotta say I played her at practice last night, WOW. The tone I was looking for.

and as a side note, I started playing at 13.....
