Cool lookin' rig, J!!! Nice job. How are ya liking the THD Hot Plate?

Scott

i like the thd. it is great for sending a steady line level signal to the rack no matter what volume i decide to play at. just need some more axis guitars. i wish i never would have sold my solid black one.

so based on the basement location, I assume you are married? :D

I'm struggling with that battle right now. Currently I have a nice music room (finished room, windows, porch off of it to step out and get some air) with drums, guitars, 2 guitar amps, bass amp, electric piano. We jam almst once a week there.

My girlfriend and I are looking at bigger houses, and my main/only criteria is a music room that is NOT a basement/garage. I want a room that I'm comfortable in...makes it easier to get creative.

That said, if I had a rig like yours, I'd probably not be able to fit it in any room either, haha!?!?

yeah new peterson called the strobo rack. its really not bad to move we jsut practice here but when it does go out it takes 2 guys for teh cabinets but the racks aretn to bad for now, till i get older lol. i am in the basement for now like you mentioned above but we are talking about in a few yrs building another garage but not in that since. more like another building like our garage about 24 x 35 walk in door and finish that for me and my toys. i would proably just make it 2 rooms so i oculd have a computer/silent room. dreams!!!

Whew! That's an airplane cockpit!! I'll bet it's great for recording, but what do you do when you have to search for a faulty cable?

dont know i'll let you know when that happens. with all the gear running through a switcher everything is off/on so its pretty easy to find what piece. all cables are color coded with zip ties in the back to designate where there going.

That's cool. What's your favorite piece of gear in the rack? Does most of that stuff run ahead of the amp's preamp stage or do you use the effects loops?
