My Girlfriend Likes Balls

Just a 17 year old bass player who isn't yet lucky enough to own an EBMM (Maybe a Sterling 5? Hope I can adapt to the string spacing), but when I took another bass down to Guitar Center in Sherman Oaks California, I had my girl with me. The guys there were buds so they actually gave me a setup there on the spot, and while we were waiting she was looking around at the guitar wall, and noticed a guitar she really liked.

She said her favorite guitar on the wall was the pretty Cyan ("You mean blue?" I asked to which she responded "No... cyan") EBMM Axis.

Then I pointed her over to the Bongo, and she said that was nice looking too.



Is it just me or do girls have the most amazing taste in guitars?

No offense taken, but trying to move it into a less off-topic type thing how many of you guys have had similar experiences? Like with the wife/girlfriend preferring the look of an EBMM or whatever, or even like in Sub1_Zero's case helping you pick one out?

Ok....I'll try to rescue this thread....

My wife is extremely understanding when it comes to me & my guitars (all 54 of them!).....

Saying that, many have been greeted with great derision ("what's that?" "ewwww, that's ugly!" etc etc)!!!

But, then my DD AL MM90 arrived.....and this is what she said:

"Hang on.....oh, I'm going to have to call you back.....[hangs up phone]
Wow, Honey!!! That is a beautiful guitar!!! I love the colour.....I love the shape.
That's a definite keeper."

So, there you have it: an EBMM can actually get my wife to end a phone call just so she can compliment it!!!!

Nuff said? I think so!!!!
