KILLER! Sounds awesome. Good job! My next guitar (after I pay for my JP7) will be a Luke. I MIGHT sell/trade one of my JPs to obtain one...

Oh my..sorry for the 'gank' word.. I will use 'knucklehead' from now on :D

Thanks for the comment. For the guitar recording I use Logic Express (the cheap version of Logic Pro) and Tone Port Line 6, but seriously it will not kickin butt enough if I'm not use my Luke. Thanks again Jodi!

Okay...it's bad enough that I want to quit playing when I see your video clips of you noodling around on your LUKE....then you post this "tune" that you and your friend through together on the computer with a plastic line 6 tone port interface....it sounds like it was done in a major recroding studio....you are sickening, man...It takes people years and years to get the chops, and learn to use their guitars and effects to get tones like that, and then you have serious writing skills, engineering skills, and a great singer that sounds like he could be on the radio????? what the hell, ponch???? Please tell us the WHOLE story....you are SICK, SICK, SICK I say.

okay...meet me in the octagon....

Hi guys, thanks for the comments, much appreciated.

I recorded my guitars & bass at my house using my Logic & Tone Port, then we recorded vocals and the rest at a studio, it's the same studio where we recorded our band The Gypsy Van debut album and also some other major works (jingles and other things). My friend Aub Delane is the man in charge on mixing and mastering, he uses Pro Tools for it.

It sounds great! I'm just jealous, because my recordings sound so "local" (cheap), and I've been doing this for 20 years!
Hi bro Jeff! thanks man,
well I think we don't have to use Pro Tools to get a great sounds, since there're many great software and interface out there as good as Pro Tools, By watching my friend Aub doing the mixing and mastering..I realized that he can do the same mixing/result with any different software too. And I'm very sure with your experience of recordings for 20 years I bet it must be easy for you to switch from one to another recording tools. Thanks again for your time to give a listened to our music and give us cool comments, it makes me want to make more songs and hopefully it will getting better and better :)

Are they live drums or samples/loops?
What did you record the vocals on (mic? preamp?)
Yeah, I've found that it really doesn't matter if you use pro tools, Logic, Acid Pro, Cubase, etc...it really all sounds the same if you have good tones to start with.
What setting/amp are you using on the tone port?
rock on, ponch!
