Hey guys. I don't post a lot of pics of my guitars, but I wanted to share this pic of my various Luke model guitars. From L to R: True Gold Luke, Bahama Blue BFR Luke with all rosewood neck, Bali Burst LIII, and Olive Gold LIII.

Enjoy!

Wow, They look amazing. I've got a BFR luke in Red berry Burst. Such amazing guitars to play. :) Heres a pic of it in action. 166081_10150849212118526_1440578879_n.jpg

Fabulous guitars!
Your Lukes are gorgeous.

Someting about that true gold that makes me smile every time I see one.

Cheers,

Nice collection, which is your favorite??

Glenn |B)

The Bali Burst LIII. The specs are exactly what I would've spec'd. I have always preferred mahogany bodied guitars. I love it!

Phil - nice action shot and cool BFR!

Ozzy - just get one. :)

Mikeller - thanks!

ZeroFiveFour - the TG Luke is a cool guitar. I love how the color seems to change from gold to orange depending on the lighting.

When did you snag the Bali Burst? I must have missed something... Congrats on a fantastic collection.

Thanks a lot, guys. Much appreciated. These are such great guitars. I'm just glad that Luke has been willing to try different things in recent years. :)

Norrin Radd - very good question! You should get one.

Coldsummer and Ernie John - I know what you mean. It's a great problem to have deciding which one to play. :)

Tollie - thanks much. I'm definitely fortunate.

Hikarateboy - there's no custom colors for the LIII. The Bali Burst was a special run for Guitar Center. Olive gold was one of the two original colors. Now if you're talking about the emerald green sparkle in the other thread on the new PDN, it appears you can get that on an LIII. But I don't believe there's any other color customizing available.

Fred - you didn't miss anything. I haven't had a time to give my Bali Burst a proper introduction. I do plan to do so, but I've just been too busy. I had a short period of time Friday night and it was the first time I had a chance to get all four out and play them. So I snapped a photo of them together and posted it.

Ben - thanks a lot. I think they're the best 4 available. Go ahead and ask me what my favorite neck wood is. ;)

Lilsteve - great minds!

That Bali burst...stunning collection. Does anyone know whether there have been HSS Bali Burst Lukes made?

I believe there were some, although I think there were far more HH versions.

Perhaps someone from MM or Guitar Center could confirm?

hmm, any idea the reasoning behind no custom colors? Seems like all it would do is sell more guitars. I do love the emerald green though. Unfortunately no premier dealers near Minneapolis

Do a search on the forum for custom shop. It has been addressed previously and MM won't do it.

You can order from any Premier Dealer in the U.S. If you are just ordering an LIII in the new emerald green sparkle, the dealer doesn't have to be located near you. I have used and recommend Pete DuBaldo at DuBaldo Music, who's several states away from me. Others have also had good success with other Premier Dealers (that's why they are "Premier Dealers"). :)
