its not fair! Why do musicman basses have tobe so damn good
i am currently in my last yr of school in australia which is called the HSC (higher school certificate) and it is extremely hard! But i have been working when i can purely so i can afford to buy a musicman stingray, just cuz i played one in my local music store and i fell in love.
and then what you must understand is that musicman basses are ALOT mroe expensive in australia, we're talking double the cost as in america, so its pretty expensive to buy one
then! i do the worst thing for my wallet, i fall in love with a 30th anniversary stingray! Ahhhh good lord, that trans crimson finish with a rosewood neck and matching headstock does things to me! so then i work out that to be able to have to money to order one before the year is out or to get the money to buy one in a store, i will need to be working 50 hours a week for 7 weeks straight after my final exams are over
which would require me taking 2 jobs. I dont mind doing this as i was gonna do this anyway because im having a gap yr to work and save as much mney as possible, but jeepers creepers!
i hope all you guys with half a dozen rays and sterlings and bongos know how lucky you are while im here working my butt off to get ONE, while at home im playing a yamaha RBX on a 12W practice amp.
hahaha but honestly thanx big poppa for making such damn fine basses! In a way im happy to work that hard to try and get a 30th because i know that although its expensive, its worth it, and if i look afer it is likely to last a long long time. So if all goes according to plan, i will somehow be the proud owner of a 30th in the next few months and be able to proudly post pictures on here!
anyway im off to study for my final exams! cya!
