its not fair! Why do musicman basses have tobe so damn good :(

i am currently in my last yr of school in australia which is called the HSC (higher school certificate) and it is extremely hard! But i have been working when i can purely so i can afford to buy a musicman stingray, just cuz i played one in my local music store and i fell in love.

and then what you must understand is that musicman basses are ALOT mroe expensive in australia, we're talking double the cost as in america, so its pretty expensive to buy one

then! i do the worst thing for my wallet, i fall in love with a 30th anniversary stingray! Ahhhh good lord, that trans crimson finish with a rosewood neck and matching headstock does things to me! so then i work out that to be able to have to money to order one before the year is out or to get the money to buy one in a store, i will need to be working 50 hours a week for 7 weeks straight after my final exams are over  which would require me taking 2 jobs. I dont mind doing this as i was gonna do this anyway because im having a gap yr to work and save as much mney as possible, but jeepers creepers!

i hope all you guys with half a dozen rays and sterlings and bongos know how lucky you are while im here working my butt off to get ONE, while at home im playing a yamaha RBX on a 12W practice amp.

hahaha but honestly thanx big poppa for making such damn fine basses! In a way im happy to work that hard to try and get a 30th because i know that although its expensive, its worth it, and if i look afer it is likely to last a long long time. So if all goes according to plan, i will somehow be the proud owner of a 30th in the next few months and be able to proudly post pictures on here!

anyway im off to study for my final exams! cya!

if you have a job you may be able to get financing? which is not the best road to go down.. but does give you an instrument immediately.

If you go to http://www.basscentre.com.au they have financing options and the 30th anniversary stinger. The bass itself isn't cheap like they are in the US but I believe it is either 0% interest or 0% interest for a large time. Feel free to delete mods if this information is appropriate.

Check out the website.... you will obviously need to pass certain criteria - which I fail since I was blacklisted after some idiot chick rang up a $900 phone bill on a landline in my name a few years ago:(.. which is why I only have one MM bass :(

if you want to support your local music store.. then just ask them.. I think a lot of places have financing options these days.. but just be wary of the interest they charge you.. and read the fine print... :)

In all seriousness, it's not a bad way to start building credit and get that 30th in your hands right away...just try to pay it off *as quickly as possible* (not just the minimum monthly payments).

Basscentre good people to deal with and they do have one in stock and one on the way

yeh im starting to like this idea, because i rly dont want to miss out on one! and it would be good because my band is gonna be doig gigs at the end of the year and my yamaha RBX really just doesnt cut it, plus the 30th is so damn SEXC!

plus at bass centre you dont have to pay any interest at all, which is awesome. i emailed my local music store to see if they can do something similar, but if not then i think ill be getting onto bass centre ASAP.

i love you guys so much :p
