I love the HD-500. I'm going to give the HD-500 the starting job and bench my GK 1001RBII. The GK will make a nice back-up.

I dug that HD500 but never could it take the place of my 1001RB-II!

Sorry. Travis and Ray have turned me into a GK nut.

Congrats! Buttercream looks even nicer in person than it does in pictures!

My favorite positions are 1,2,3,4 and 5. Although I usually leave it set at #3. I think you'll be very happy with the way these basses sit in a mix.
