My new band (and we have a big name bass player!)

... ok, at my age and limited capabability on the guitar, the band will be a covers band playing in the pubs/clubs of Cardiff and surrounding areas. It's taken me a while to get the people I want into the band. I always had another guitarist in the frame, and I needed a drummer and bass player to complete the line up.

So last week end I get a text from my old drummer mate who says that he now has the time to play.

I said that was just perfect timing, beacause me and Burke Shelley (Budgie - hell even EVH covers him!!) had been talking. A few years ago he had to go through majory lifesaving surgery when Budgie were touring Poland. He was interested in getting together - he needs to build up his strength and he wants to play live again.

So it's all good news - I love playing live!!!
