My new band, 'Zip City' shoudl be ready in about a month.

We're going to start of doing covers and originals. So far it's a three pice, but I htink we are going to incorporate a multi-insturment guy as (piano, guitar, etc.).

We are going to be doing a mix of Rolling Stones, U2, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, and the Drive By Truckers.

So far covers are...

'Can't Always get what you Want'
'Beast of Burden'
'New Years Day'
'Sunday Bloody Sunday'
'Crime in the City'
'Hey Hey, My My (into the black)'
'Rockin in the Free World'
'pigs'
'Won't Get Fooled Again'
'Zip City'
'Ronnie and Neil'
'Puttin People on the Moon'
'Sands of Iwo Jima'
'Monkey Man'

Maybe add some Tom Petty, the James Gang to it too.

Any other suggestions?

Being in Gainesville, we do a lot of Tom Petty. One must down here is Mary Jane's last dance. American Girl, You Wreck me, and Refugee go over big. But, hey, you got a good set list going on. Good luck with your band.

We also do TP and it goes over very well, primarily because our bassist sounds just like him. I love to do Honey Bee by TP. A great bluesy tune with lots of room to jam and have some fun.
