Just got my JP6 today. Her serial is: G26399

I've only had the chance to play it for about an hour so far b ut I thought id post pics before people get all antsy. My impressions so far are that this guitar kicks ass. The neck is fast and amazing & the paint job is the bomb. I was worried that the pickup switch would get in my way, but thats not an issue at all. ive only played it on my 10watt Marshall at work so I dont have too great an idea of the sound; but I do know that even on that little guy I loved the sound from the bridge pup. I didnt notice any muddiness on the neck pup - i read that there was some.

Soon i'll A vs B her with my PRS McCarty, Les Paul w/ EMG's (maybe my tele for kicks) and post the "results".

So now im going to go play her but here's some pics of my little EB family (and a few of my other kids chillin in the back).

Oh ya ... I named her Scarlett

Nice collection you have there man. It's funny that we both got the exact same guitar on the same day. Enjoy Scarlett...I know I will enjoy my new JP-6 for a long long time.

My serial is G26476. It's funny that two guitars delivered on the same day would have serial numbers so far apart. Did you order yours directly from EBMM via a dealer?

I guess the serial numbers being so far apart could be due to the fact that EBMM makes no distinction on the make of the guitar while numbering them (?)

Nice Petrucci you got there, you should be pretty happy with it, l'm still awaiting mine. And it's killing me.

The serial numbers are so far apart because they are just installed on guitar randomly, not that it makes much difference, a serial number is a serial number.

I guess if someone wants all the serial numbers in order could volunteer their time to go do it. :p

Are the pictures from your work too?? Guess I better start looking for a new job.

Anyway, nice guitar. Look forward to the A/B test results.

I'll do the "real" A vs B soon. Had to put my dog to sleep this morning so I spent most of the night with him :(

Blue Dawn!!!

Try removing the Pickguard. It's hypnotic.

The Blue Dawn has a "crack" in the paint shooting out from the bridge-side screw of the pup selector. :( I dont know if you can see in the pics (probably can in the larger version that I linked). I have no idea how it got the crack ... never dropped it and I never messed with that screw, so its not due to over-tightening the screw or any other "abuse". i figure it gives her personality, so its all good
