So, of course it gets delivered while I'm at work! They couldn't have delivered it when I was home this morning, no!!

But anyway it's here and it's mint. First off many thanx to SteveLINY for selling it to me and getting out as quickly as he did.

I didn't get the chance to unbox it until like 9'ish. The girls were like "Dad I love your new sparkley guitar!!". It's a little bit more yellow than the pictures show. The pictures are ones that Steve took before I bought it, thanx Ernie for the bit of advise.

Steve was right this thing is mint!!! I need to pickup some lemon oil to clean the fretboard, but other than that and restringing it with 9's and doing some minor truss rod adjustments (thanx again to my man OC for typing me thrrough it) most of the buzz is gone.

It's getting late and I've got an early morning, so I'll let it set and see how the buzz is tomorrow evening.

beautiful...just...wow.

the only thing that would complete the package for me, is if it had piezo/matching hs. dont get me wrong, its an incredible guitar in and of itself.

but my dream, is to get ahold of 2 jps, one 6, one 7 stringer...in bluedawn, with piezo/matching hs.

Yeah so that was the craziest thought ive ever dreamed of...ill go back to dreaming now...

anyways, great score buddy.

ps- just noticed in the pictures the neck joint...my brothers wood is pretty plain there, the flames all along the rest of the neck...but you have some prettyness going on around that joint. once again...beautiful guitar.

Dude, thanx. I just sold my BD Axis Sport to Pete, I liked BD, but I love this color better.
It would have been nice with the Piezo, but begs can't be choosers. I jumped on it and I'm glad that I did. I have a feeling that there aren't a lot of this color out there. Yah the necks got some birdseye, but that really doesn't matter to me. My AL is birdseye up the wazoo compared to all of the others, but again it's not a major thing for me.

You can probaly get those BD, but your gonna have to be signed, hahahahahahahaha, sorry BP I couldn't resist.

Glad to see it got there OK. Take care of that baby...it's a great guitar, and I hated to sell it.
But like I said, EB sealed the neck at the factory, so that's what some of that stuff in the fingerboard is...Maybe ask Jon about the best way to clean it is...I'm sure good lemon oil will work. Maybe a touch of 0000 steel wool...:D

I was kicking myself right after I left the UPS store...LOL
But I'm very glad it got into a good set of hands....
Enjoy.

Steve, thanx I didn't know that the neck was sealed, saves me from deciding whether or not to have it done.

Frank, yah man thanx it's really more yellow than orange, but I love it anyway.

Yes I was/did sell one of the two I had for sale. Pete took the BD Axis Sport off my hands.

Thanx, I'm pumped it's mine. Yup it's my first JP. I messed around with one at the OH, though that one had the Piezo on it. I really liked it and I'm maple fretboard kind of guy, but the neck on the JP is awesome. I like the profile as much as I like all the other profiles. I have small hands so the JP neck profiles like perfect.

Congrats on your first Pet. You are now my sparkle apprentice, young GW. By the way, the correct name for your beautiful new pet is Autumn Red Rise. You better fix your sig. or you will be booted out of the sparkle club. ;)

Hahahahahahaha LOL.

Ernie man you made my day!!! Yah I have a feeling that I'd like a JP with a Piezo, but that's gonna have to be a long ways off. I liked the Black Sparkle one that you posted from Germany, that was sweet. Maybe one of those with a Piezo, or maybe the truly RARE Glacier Blue Sparkle, Stratus Blue Sparkle, Midnight Blue Sparkle, Red Sparkle, Burnt Apple, White Sparkle or Gremlin Green Sparkle. Though that non-matching headstock thing I have might make it harder. I have plenty of time before it ever happens.

Hey BP, how about one of the more rare sparkle colors as a LE for 2006???
I know, been there, done that, it can't hurt to ask.

Hey, the Axis Sport build page actually lists the color as "Autumn Red". I'll fix my sig, though could someone from EBMM verify what the exact name really is?
