That is indeed very strange! The sparkle dates it to 2001-2003, while this Floyd Rose trem has not been put onto the silos since 1995-1996, if I remeber correctly. Also, the SSH Config is an attribute of the older silo as well. On the other hand, nothing on it looks retrofitted.
So, it seems an absolute one of a kind, probably a special one for an endorsed musician or something!!!

Maybe guys from the factory can shed some light on this one?

The floyd is a standard MuMan Floyd that You can find on an Axis or a Morse. Floyds on silos were always recessed, AFAIK.

I know where the guitar came from and former endorsee does figure in it, though I am delighted you like it Mr X - I wasnt playing it at all!

I am selling a couple of the sparkles but only because I have just taken delivery of an Axis Sport Black Sparkle, rosewood, hardtail 2 humbuckers.

I already have its brother an Axis Sport Black Sparkle, maple 2 MM90s.

There is something almost Les Paul Junior like about the simplicity of the Sports.

WOW Dave that's excellent. The MM90's are just the best on an Axis Sport for some reason. :)
