After much debate over purchasing a 5-stringer, I could not pass up on an ebay item. It's a burnt apple SR5 w/rosewood. It arrived in case/excellent condition & it only cost me a tad over $800. Sounds great w/new Elixir Nanowebs (& shim :>).

Excuse the bad pic quality & the cheesy web site:

The SR5 joins my SR4 & Sterling.

I think your '95 Honey Burst SR looks better

I agree, if I had to keep one on display, it would be the honey burst StingRay (or I'd buy Bovinehosts burnt apple SR4 - which is probably 4sale by now :>). If I had to pick one to perform with however, it would be the Sterling - absolute perfect low set-up, most comfortable, great sounding, easiest bass I've ever played - I just play it better than the others.

thats sweet man....yeah i orded a SR5 like, 4 months ago and it still hasnt come in yet. they called and said it was gonna be even longer because they still havent found a good piece of wood or something, i dunno i'm pretty upset about it. its a SR5 with piezo pickups, maple neck and natural finish....so i hope youre enjoying yours while i'm waiting for mine haha.
