This weekend in the midlands, uk we have celebrated the black country, a region known for its history of engineering and heritage.
I have been very lucky to get involved with the organiser and band leader james, his band are called the empty can and he has entrusted me with keeping the low end looked after.

Thats a flag that was designed to be the flag of the black country, basically a small region of towns known for their industry and manufacturing in the heart of england. Funnily enough, its been labled racisy today by a so-called racism campaigner, thick idiot probably doesnt know that the flag was designed by a 12 year old girl at a local school. Im bloody fuming at this guys comments, all hes doing is stirring up hatred.

You aren't that far from me in the UK. We must be a rare breed with Sterling 5's! I LOVE my Sterling.

If I had space I'd get a 4H.

Just in Altrincham area of Cheshire/Greater Manchester.

They really are something special...the Sterling is a killer bass! I love the Natural finish from EBMM.

Hey Steevo. Thanks for the pics. What a beauty! How much does in weight?

I will gig with my new Sterling 5 HH (yeah!) this weekend. Just curious: What is your favorite and what is your most and least frequent used pickup combination? I can see the toggle switch in Pos. 3 and 4 on some of the pics. Cheers and enjoy that nice bass!

Not sure of the weight, ill weigh it later.
As far as pickup combinations i find tend to. Go for 1,2 and 3 the most. Mainly 2 though, seems very well rounded, nice depth and the eq seems very responsive without being over the top

Its a Sterling, they are the best EBMMs ever made

If people aren't getting the sound they want, they have a bad amb\cab combo or are unfamiliar with controlling the Sterling. It does it all.

Exactly the weight of mine. I am falling in love with it more and more. It is not only the many sound options, it is also so easy to play and gig - even for 3 hours gigs. Amazing. This one is a keeper!

Have fun with yours!!
